To Fitbit or not to Fitbit?

I was pretty much diametrically opposed to getting a Fitbit. I actually love watches and own at least five, but I almost never actually wear them. Especially not during Covid when we aren’t going out to eat.

But my wife got one. She loves it of course. “It’s less than a hundred dollars at Costco and you can return it in thirty days if you don’t like it.”

So now I have one of these black rubber bands strangling my wrist. Notifying me with messages I can’t read unless I’m wearing my glasses. Asking for access to every part of my life from contacts to…
